Dongjin Shipping receives 'AEO'certification

Dongjin Shipping received an AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certificate on April 16 in Seoul.

AEO started in 2009 as a customs screening law observance for safe management by import/export companies. Companies that pass AEO screening receive AEO certification. AEO benefits include exemption from clearance goods inspections, and in particular through the Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRA) between countries, AEO certified companies receive the same customs benefits in other countries.

For AEO guideline observance, Dongjin Shipping has improved manual work for enhanced security access systems.

Also, the company has trained employees in security for better logistics safety management.
