Busan Port Authority (BPA) and the Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC) agreed to cooperate with each other.
BPA signed an agreement with JDC, Jeju Free International City Developer, in order to carry out the government 3.0 project and to vitalize the BNPR project for the local community development.
BPA will share its successful knowhow of BNPR, the nation’s first port redevelopment project, with JDC and will benchmark the JDC’s investment strategy by signing the agreement.
The two institutions will continue to support necessary resources for each other for vitalizing the Jeju Free International City Development Project, and plan to actively carry out the government 3.0 project by establishing and operating an actual collaboration organization.
A BPA official stated, “By building tight cooperation between the two parties, we expect to accelerate global investment in the BNPR project, and create mutual synergy, including carrying out an advisory role for national policy projects.”
