ZIM recently announced the realignment of its Asia-Europe Express service (AEX1). The service, deploying 9 ships of 8,500 to 10,000 TEU capacity and operated jointly with CSCL, offers coverage of major Asian and North European ports with superior transit times.
As from mid-June, the AEX1 revised rotation will add the port of Antwerp and Nansha, and will be as follows:
Shanghai-Ningbo-Yantian- Felixstowe-Hamburg-Rotterdam-Antwerp- Nansha-Shanghai
The first sailing under the new alignment is MV Xin Ya Zhou 78W planned to sail from Shanghai on June 12. ZIM will deploy 3 x 10,000 TEU ships, the ZIM Antwerp,
