HMM chosen again as the best partner from Sony

Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM, President Suk-Hui Lee) announced that the company was selected as the Best Partner Carrier from Sony for the ninth straight year on May 22th.

Sony has chosen the best partner among the related shipping companies based on service competitiveness or level of cooperative relations, etc., for several years. HMM got another prize again, which records its ninth in succession since 2004. HMM handles over 20,000 TEU of Sony's cargo per year.

Mr. Sang-yun Hwangbo, Japan branch's manager for HMM, gave his' thoughts, "It's an honor to win this award. We believe this is a good barometer of HMM's efforts. We continue to achieve customers' recognition and trust through our high quality services."

Meanwhile, HMM was also awarded for 'Transportation Outstanding Partner' in 2011 from Target, 'the Performance Partners Awards of Excellence' in 2010 from World Trade 100 and 'Quest for Quality Awards' from Logistics Management for the past 9 years. < 김보람 기자 brkim@ksg.co.kr >
