Sinokor and Namsung Shipping are cooperating in the Korea - Japan - China pendulum route named the Japan Bohai Express (JBX).
The two shipping companies have deployed 1,000TEU container ships with Sinokor deploying the <JJ SUN> and Namsung Shipping deploying the <FPMC CONTAINER8>.
The new service rotation is Busan - Busan New Port - Akita - Sikata - Nigata - Busan New Port - Busan - Kwangyang - Tianjjin - Dalian - busan.
Sinokor has also joined the New Tai Express (NTX). NTX was opened by Namsung Shipping and Dongjin Shipping last November between Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. The Rotation is:
Incheon - Kwangyang - Busan - Hong Kong - Laem Chabang - Bangkok - Laem Chabang - Ho Chi Minh - Incheon.
Each of the three shipping companies has deployed one vessel in the service.
A shipping industry official said, "The competition grows in Southeast Asia routes so there is cooperation to reduce costs and improve profitability."
