Dongjin Shipping deploys 1,000TEU container ship in Korea - Japan route
On April 30, Dongjin Shipping held a naming ceremony for the < DONGJIN ENTERPRISE >, a 1,000TEU container ship.
Dongjin Shipping ordered the ship on July 11, 2013. it's the newbuild is 141 meters in length, 24.8 meters in width, carries a maximum capacity of 1,003 TEU.
Dongjin Shipping has deployed the new ship in its Korea - Japan Tokyo and Yokohama route, replacing the < O.M. AESTATIS>.
The rotation is Busan (Wednesday) - Shimizu (Thursday) - Yokohama (Friday) - Tokyo (Friday) - Nagoya (Saturday) - Busan (Tuesday).
The vessel's first sailing was from Busan on May 12.
A Dongjin Shipping official said, "The new vessels will help to save on costs while we expand in an eco-friendly way"
