KMTC deploys 1,100-TEU container ship in Korea - China - Japan route

KMTC has deployed a 1,100-TEU container ship in its Korea - China - Japan route.

KMTC took delivery of a new 1,103-TEU container ship from Mistubishi Heavy Industries and Hakata Shipbuilding on December 15, 2014. The new container ship is named the < Sunny Daisy >.

The new container ship is eco-friendly and sports ballast water treatment equipment.

KMTC has chartered the new container ship from Mitsui & Co. for 10 years. The < Sunny Daisy > is deployed in its CJT service. The CJT service rotation is Shimizu - Sendai - Onahama - Busan North Port - Busan New Port - Ningbo - Shanghi - Busan.

New container ship set sail on December 19, 2014.
