Hamburg Sud opens office in Nanjing

On August 1st, Hamburg Sud is opening an office in Nanjing, China. All tasks that were previously carried out by the Ben Line agency will in the future be taken over by the new Hamburg Sud office. This includes daily operations, as well as sales, customer order management and container and intermodal activities. The office will be headed by General Manager Steven Pu.

Services to and from Nanjing will be operated using feeder ships from the ports of Shanghai and Ningbo. The new Nanjing office will be responsible for all Hamburg Sud operations in the Yangtze area, the ports of Chongqing and Wuhan, and also Lianyungang.

Hamburg Sud operates at 20 locations in Greater China.
