Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. (YM) has announced it is expanding cooperation and upgrade its Intra Asia service to provide more and better services.
Effective from the 30th of April, 2014, its Pan-Asia Service II(PA2) is jointly operated with COSCO Container Lines Co., Ltd. (COSCO) and Wan Hai Lines Ltd. (WHL) with four 4,250-TEU containerships. The rotation of the PA2 service is Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Shanghai, Fuzhou Jiangyin port, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Kelang, Penang, Singapore, Hong Kong, and back to Xingang for a round trip voyage of 28 days.
The containerships for the Pan Asia Service (PAS) will be upsized to two 1,800-TEU container vessels and jointly operated with T.S. Line from May 7, 2014. The rotation of PAS service is Moji, Hakata, Pusan, Kwanyang, Keelung, Taichung, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Shekou, Xiamen, Keelung, and back to Moji for a round trip voyage of 14 days.
Simultaneously, the containerships for the Japan-Taiwan-Philippine Service (JTS) will be upsized to three 2,800-TEU container vessels and jointly operated from May 8, 2014. The rotation of the JTS service is Nagoya, Tokyo, Chiba, Yokohama, Keelung, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Manila (S), Manila (N), Hong Kong, Shekou, Xiamen, and back to Nagoya for a round trip voyage of 21 days.

(YM) and Orient Express Lines with two 1,800-TEU container vessels. The ports of call are Haiphong, Ho Chi Minh, Singapore, Port Kelang, and Singapore with a round trip voyage of 14 days.
The containerships for the South East Asia Service (SEA) will be upsized to two 1,800-TEU container vessels and operated independently by YM from the middle of May, 2014. The port rotation is Laem Chabang, Singapore, Port Kelang, Jakarta, Singapore, and back to Laem Chabang, with a round trip voyage of 14 days. < Korea Shipping Gazette >
