Danzas Strengthens its Logistics Position in China
One of the world's leading providers of IT-supported logistics solutions, is strengthening its logistics position in China.
“China is a key growth market for Danzas where we have particularly high expectations of opportunities in the Chinese market. We put product development and geographic network expansion at the forefront of our growth plans. We will continue to achieve the highest growth rates in the logistics business,” Head of Danzas AEI Intercontinental Asia-Pacific, Mr. Thomas Nieszner said.
“We are firmly rooted here for 11 years now. We are committed to provide top-notched logistics services to our clients. We fulfil the need by delivering substantial benefits with smart supply chain solutions through our worldwide logistics network in- and outside China. This is how we stay ahead of the competition”, added
Head of Danzas AEI Intercontinental China, Mr. Meilin Wang.
Indeed, Danzas has a unique business advantage in China. Danzas is one of the few international logistics companies to hold an international A-Class licence. This means that Danzas is in direct control of all logistics and forwarding services from international air / ocean freight to overland transport, customs clearance, warehousing and domestic distribution.
The market leader in airfreight
Danzas, the number one international logistics company in China, recorded an impressive turnover of USD14.6 million in air export. The company has won the accolade for three consecutive years by IATA (International Air Transport Association) in its latest report in 2001.
Secures NVOCC qualifications covering 10 cities
Danzas secures a large number of NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) qualifications in 10 cities: Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Qingdao, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Dalian, Ningbo, Nanjing, and Xian. It will also obtain the registration for Guangzhou, Shenyang, and Chengdu by end of the year.
With the NVOCC status, Danzas will operate directly with carriers, and it will assume full liabilities of its clients’ shipments. This further assures our clients’ that their cargos are in good hands. It is a requirement for companies engaging in international shipping services in Chinese ports to obtain the licence by January 2003.
Expands logistics network
Danzas has secured new licences to operate in Shenyang, Suzhou and Chengdu, and it will introduce the full spectrum of logistics service offerings to these areas. In line with its expansion strategy, Danzas targets to open four to five offices every year in China.
