In view of continuous poor trading conditions, effective from November 2012, Maersk Line and MSC will restructure their services between the Mediterranean and South America East Coast.
The Maersk Line Rumba service and MSC Spain service will be merged into one common service that will be initially operated by 6 vessels of 6,000 TEU nominal capacity.
The new port rotation will be as follows: Gioia Tauro - Valencia - Algeciras - Pecem- Salvador - Paranagua - Itapoa- Imbituba - Santos - Las Palmas -Port Tangier - Algeciras - Gioia Tauro.
The new service allows for a more cost beneficial operation in the current trading environment and reflects current market demand in this trade.
