CMA CGM to launch new service between Asia and North Africa
CMA CGM is pleased to announce the start of a new dedicated service between Asia and North Africa, via its hub in Malta.
This new service, named North Africa Express, will operate with seven 3,000 TEU ships that will call on Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Jakarta, Malta, Port Kelang, Jakarta, Chiwan.
North Africa Express will provide connections with CMA CGM feeders to Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and Libya via the main hub of Malta. Highly competitive transit times, such as Chiwan to Algiers in 21 days or Shanghai to Tripoli in 24 days, will be offered.
The first ship, the CMA CGM JASMIN, will leave Shanghai on June 15th, 2007.
