Int'l logistics company opens center at Incheon airport
Schenker, a German based global logistics service provider announced Friday it opened a new operational center in the free trade zone of Incheon International Airport located the west of Seoul.
This is the first time a foreign company has opened a logistics center in the free trade zone at Incheon International Airport.
The logistics center, built on 9,900 square meters of land at a cost of 10 billion won (USD10.5 million), has the capacity to handle 5,000 cargo pallets, the German company said.
Construction of the center began in November 2005.
