SLS Shipbuilding, Sined conctract with Stolt-Nielsen for four 44,000DWT Parcel Tankers
SLS Shipbuilding Co., Ltd one of Korea’s leading shipbuilding accepted an order from the Stolt-Neilson Transport Group (SNTG) for four 44,000DWT parcel tankers.
The aggregate price for the four ships is about U$340million, with delieveries planned for between middle 2010 and early 2011.
This deal brings the total number of tankers ordered by SNTG has increased by 19 tankers.
SLS has changed its company name from the former ‘Shin-A Shipbuilding’ after merging with SLS Heavy Industries, which were mainly engaging in the production of railroad equipment.
The aggregate price for the four ships is about U$340million, with delieveries planned for between middle 2010 and early 2011.
