CMA CGM and its Moroccan subsidiary, COMANAV, announced the upgrade of their West Med – Morocco service.
As from April 11th, 2012, CMA CGM and COMANAV will serve the West Med/Morocco trade through three separated loops dedicated to the following markets: Spain – Morocco, Italy – Morocco, and France – Morocco.
This upgrade aims to improve reliability, schedule integrity, and transit times. Loops will be organized as follows:
▲ Loop 1 - Spain, will be effective on April 11th, 2012
The Spain loop will start for one round-trip voyage with the following rotation: Barcelona > Valencia TCV > Valencia Noatum > Casablanca > Barcelona.
As from April 18th, the fixed rotation will be as follows: Valencia TCV > Valencia Noatum > Barcelona > Casablanca > Valencia TCV.
▲ Loop 2 - Italy, will be effective on April 14th, 2012
The rotation will be as follows: Naples > La Spezia > Genoa > Casablanca > Salerno > Naples.
▲ Loop 3 - France, will be effective on April 11th, 2012
The rotation will be as follows: Marseilles > Casablanca > Marseilles.
Loop 3 will be operated by 2 CMA CGM RORO vessels. Marseilles and Casablanca will be called twice a week.
“These three complementary services will offer a comprehensive coverage of the West Mediterranean area, with calls in 7 ports, as well as fast transit times.
