A new name makes its debut on the international marine insurance scene
today with the official launch of Dex, a new hull insurer based at Ll
oyd’s, created through a joint venture between Thomas Miller, Swiss R
e and Chartwell Re.
Dex will provide practical hull insurance solutions created for the ne
w millennium. It is the culmination of almost two years’ collaboratio
n between the three parties and promises to break the mould of traditi
onal hull insurance products by offering more transparent, accessible
and practical products and services.
