Halla Engineering & Construction Corp. to take part in Jingtang
port project

It was announced that Halla Engineering & Construction Corp. are expected
to take part in the second-phase project of the Chinese port of Jingtang
in Tangshan City, Hebei Province.
They said that Chung In-yung, chairman of the Halla Business Group, and
Tian Xiu Qi, head of the Jingtang port authorities, exchanged a letter
of intent for the project in Tangshan City recently.
Therefore, they are planning to commence the second-phase project at the
end of 1996, when the first-phase work completes.
