in Singapore. She is the second of ten identical container vessels with a capacity of 7,100 TEU each. This makes them not only the largest ships ever built for Hamburg Sud, but also, with their 1,600 reefer plugs each, they are the ships with the biggest reefer capacity currently available worldwide.
The sponsor of the , which is named after a successful training ship of the shipping group from the 1950s, was Bettina Schacht, wife of Otto Schacht, Senior Vice President Global Seafreight, Kuhne + Nagel.
