Yang Ming, Sharaf Group form joint venture

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation and Sharaf Group announced the formation of a joint venture agency company in U.A.E., which is to be named as Yang Ming (U.A.E) L.L.C. The opening party was held on 16th January 2010 in Dubai.

The joint venture, which starts operations from January 2010, will enhance Yang Ming’s position in the Gulf market and enhance its commitment to customers in the area.

Sharaf Group has represented Yang Ming in most Gulf countries through its subsidiary Pioneer Shipping Agent LLC for over 13 years. The joint venture is a natural progression of the close relationship between Sharaf Group and Yang Ming.
