NYK Logistics wins Asia logistics awards

NYK Logistics (Asia) Pte. Ltd. (NL-Asia) was recognized as the Automotive Logistics Service Provider of the Year for Southeast Asia as well as the High-Tech Logistics Service Provider of the Year for Southeast Asia at the 2009 Asia Pacific Frost & Sullivan Transportation & Logistics Awards banquet in Singapore on July 23, 2009.

The Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Transportation & Logistics Awards recognizes outstanding performance by logistics service providers, logistics facilities providers, port operators, technology service providers and express companies in the Asia Pacific region. The award categories offered each year are carefully reviewed and evaluated to reflect the current market landscape and include new emerging sectors.

The awards honor the best logistics service providers within the automotive, high-tech electronics, pharmaceutical, and retail & FMCG industries in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Australia.

NYK Logistics was awarded the Best Logistics Service Provider for two consecutive years in 2007 and 2008, which proved its capability to cater professional services throughout the four ASEAN countries irrespective of the service segment. This year, Frost & Sullivan only provide an award for the best service providers in the respective industry verticals. NL-Asia was awarded for two out of four verticals covering all five countries.
