MOL call at Da Chan Bay on Japan - Hong Kong Straits Service
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines announced plans to add a call at Da Chan Bay in Shenzhen on its Japan-Hong Kong-Straits Service (CHS1) in August.
The weekly CHS1 route is served by three 3,500 TEU-class ships. The additional call at Da Chan Bay will meet increasing demand in Shenzhen, South China, a rapidly expanding region. It also allows MOL to offer direct service from Shenzhen to Japan in addition to its current services.
MOL will be the first shipping company to offer direct Shenzhen-Japan service through Da Chan Bay terminal.
Port Rotation is as follows:
Tokyo - Yokohama - Nagoya - Kobe - Hong Kong - Singapore - Port Kelang - Singapore - Da Chan Bay - Hong Kong - Tokyo
The service will commence with the arrival of the MOL Expeditor at Da Chan Bay on August 20, 2009.<한상권 기자>
