OOCL launches new Haiphong-Kaohsiung feeder service
OOCL announced a new feeder service between Haiphong in north Vietnam and Kaohsiung in Taiwan. The new service is called the Haiphong Kaohsiung Feeder?(HPH) and launched on July 9, 2008 from Haiphong.
The new service, comprising one 400 TEU vessel of loadable capacity, was OOCL? first dedicated service calling at Haiphong, and displays the company? commitment to the growth and development of north Vietnam. The call at Kaohsiung offers customers extended reach to destinations throughout Asia, the U.S. and Europe.
Port rotation of the new service is: Haiphong - Kaohsiung - Haiphong. The service runs weekly, with a midweek Haiphong call and a weekend call at Kaohsiung.<Korea Shipping Gazette>
