Mediterranean Shipping Company of Geneva are pleased to announce that
following their successful introduction of their East Coast of South A
merica service with transhipment via the Canary Islands last year, a n
ew direct service will be introduced.
from the 16th of April Mediterranean Shipping Company will offer a ded
icated named day direct service, deploying 7 full container vessels of
1600 teu capacity and an operating speedn of 20knots. The port rotati
on will be Antwerp, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Santo
s, Buenos Aires, Rio Grande, Santos.
As a result of the lower number of port calls in South America, Medite
rranean Shipping Company will provide one of the fastest transit times
available in this trade.
With this additional service Mediterranean Shipping Company will compl
ement their already extensive range of services offered from North Eur
opean ports and provide connections to their comprehensive global netw
ork.
