DSME wins USD 6 billion export 'Tower Award'
DSME received the ‘Tower Award’ for surpassing USD 6 billion in exports on the 30th of November, marking the 44th Trade Day Ceremony at COEX in Seoul.
Among the 71 large companies awarded, Samsung Electronics was recognized as the highest earning company by attaining USD 45 billion in exports. Coming in second was Hyundai Heavy Industry with exports worth USD 10 billion . Hynix came in third recording USD 9 billion in exports, while DSME followed in fourth place.
In addition, Mr. S. T. Nam, President & CEO of DSME, was selected as one of 4 recipients of the Gold Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit.
These achievements are a clear indication that DSME has greatly contributed to the growth of the nation’s export industry.
