Panalpina honored by import customers

The global forwarding and logistics group Panalpina has received 'best supplier' awards for its extraordinary services from two of its major customers, the Singapore-based technology company Flextronics and the German Bosch Group.

Panalina received the Supplier Award of the Bosch Group in a ceremony at the Bosch Engineering Center for Automotive Technology in Abstatt, near Heilbronn.

This award is Bosch's acknowledgement of Panalpinas' outstanding performance in 2003 and 2004 in terms of quality, costs, and reliability.

Further criteria for the award are the company's willingness to further develop its products and services on a continuing basis, and its technological potential.

This year is the tenth time that Bosch has presented its Supplier Award, for which companies all over the world are invited to compete. The award goes to the company's best suppliers.

"Quality is for Bosch the critical success factor of excellence. This is why over the long term, only suppliers who offer top quality have a good chance of growing together with Bosch."

"This is an area where we will not tolerate compromise", said, Franz Fehrenbach, Chairman of the Board of Management of Robert Bosch GmbH at the ceremony. This year Bosch presented its award to 51 suppliers.
