Expanded Portland Airlift spotlights Western Market Growth At
Burlington Air Express
Burlington Air Express is expanding its air freight service into
Portland, Ore., as part of its western market service upgrade called,
“Tex/West Direct.”
New flights into Portland are designed to service the busy high-tech
corridors in the western United States with both earlier arrivals and
later departures.
The new jet freighter flights also offer greater overnight capacity,
plus direct flights to Burlington Air Express’(BAX) Toledo HUB
providing dedicated Second Day lift with flexible pick-up times. The
flight arrives into Portland an hour earlier than previous flights
and departs later.
“The new upgraded service to Portland increases our capacity and
improves arrivals and departures with greater flexibility than we’ve
ever had before for our customer,”said Paul Pfeifer, District
Manager, BAX Portland. “Our customers now will receive inbound
materials earlier for a full day’s availability and have the
flexibility to receive and process outbound orders much later in the
evening,” he said.
According to Cline, BAX was selected because of its combination of
global services capabilities team experience in automotive and
technolngy air freight logistics management.
Burling Air Express offers overnight and second day air freight
delivery to every major North american business community and
international air freight, ocean forwarding and customs brokerage
worldwide.
