[ NOL Appoints New Directors ]

Neptune Orient Lines Ltd(NOL) recently announced that at its Annual Ge
neral Meeting appointed Mr. Robert Chua, Mr. Dirk Goedhart, Mr. Kwek L
eng Joo, Professor Wee Chow Hou as new drectors.
Mr. Robert Chua is the executive chairman of ACE Daikin(Singapore) Pte
Ltd.
Mr. Chua is the president of the Singapore Confederation of Industries
since 1988. He is 51 years old.
Mr. Dirk Goedhart is the Managing Director of Philips International BV
. He is also the president director(non executive) of Bossche Containe
r Terminal and the Chairman of the Cargo Coordinating Forum-Internatio
nal Chamber of Commerce, Paris. He is 58 years old.
Mr. Kwek Leng Joo is the Managing Director of City Development Ltd. He
is also the Deputy Chairman of the Singapore Trade Development Board,
the president of the Singapore Federation of Chambers of Commerce and
industry, and the Immediate Past President of the Singapore Chinese C
hamber of Commerce and Industry. He is 44 years old.
Professor Wee Chow Hou is the Dean. Faculty of Business Administration
at the National University of Singapore(NUS).
He is 46 years old.
