Ulsan construction adjusted for 50,000 tonne berths
The Ulsan Regional Maritime Affaires & Fisheries Office will expand the scale of construction for berth facilities in the South Ulsan New Port from the originally planned 20,000 ton berth to a 50,000 ton berth.
The Ulsan Office announced on June 12 that the basic plan proposal for berth facility construction would change from ten 20,000 tonnes to nine 20,000~50,000 tonne berths as ships are becoming larger, and presented the revision to the Ministry of Maritime Affaires & Fisheries.
The Ulsan Regional Maritime Affaires & Fisheries Office will start construction after selecting an operating company when the proposal is settled on by MOMAF later this year.
