[ The Tonnages of Korean Fleet reached 9,292,277 G/T ]

The total tonnages secured by the Korean shipping companies, as of the
end of first half of this year amounted to 376 ships of 9,292,277 G/T
.
According to the recent statistics from KSA, the figures show the fleet
were increased by 3 vesseles in number and in terms of tonnage by 4.
7 percent as compared to the same period of last year.
The average sizes by ship types are as follows; ore and coal carriers
have recorded 3,682,947 G/T, followed by full container ships (2,065,793
G/T), oil tanker (867,250 G/T), break bulk carriers (858,647 G/T),
log carriers (786,558 G/T), car carriers (604,000 G/T) and general cargo
ships (110,473 G/T).
