Gwangyang Port road show successful

According to Gwang-yang City, a recent Gwangyang Port road show in Europe suc-cessfully raised public awareness for the port.

The event advertised Gwangyang Port in Rotterdam from Nov. 11 to 27. Shippers, ship-owners, freight forwarders, port authorities and traders from across Europe attended the event.

Gwangyang City said, "The event was enough to attract attention from London and was a good chance to promote the new born Gwangyang Port."

Gwangyang Port introduced facilities after the model of Rotterdam Port, the first automated terminal in the world. Successes for the road show included consulting contracts to foster the automotive industry cluster and attracting the Shipping and Transport College.
