[ Maersk Announces a New Service in New Zealand ]
Maersk Line announces a new service to and from New Zealand.
Maersk Line is pleased to announce that it will add New Zealand to it
’s world-wide service scope, with the first sailing from New Zealand
in early Febuary 1997.
New Zealand’s North and South Islands will be served by 2 fast
cellular container vessels shuttling between New Zealand and
Singapore with no calls at inermediate ports.
The service will feature fortnightly calls on fixed weekdays at the
ports of Auckland, Tauranga, Napier and Lyttelton with a transit time
of 11 days between New Zealand and Singapore. In Singapore onwards
connection to and from Maersk Line’s global service network will be
offered.
