[ Christening Ceremony Held For Hanjin Beijing ]

A christening ceremony for Hanjin Shipping Company’s 3rd 5,300TEU
class full-container vessel, Hanjin Beijing, was held on January 7th
at Hanjin Heavy Industries’ Yong-do Shipyard in Pusan.
Present at the ceremony were Hanjing Shipping Company’s president,
Sooho Cho, top executives and other concerned parties.
Scheduled for its deployment on January 12th, Hanjin Beijing is one
of the world’s largest vessels with a maximum generating power of
75,000 and speed of 26 knots. It is especially designed with two
lecture rooms and fully equipped with remote controllable devices,
radar and simulation, for productive on-board education in favor of
maritime university students and office emppoyees.
