'Coffee break' makes Pusan port safe
Government and public offices are changing. Director of Pusan Regional Maritime Affaires and Fisheries, Jae-Gyun Lee, invited Jung-Gye Song, a pilot, Sang-Ho Sim, the Korea Tugboat CEO, and other interested parties engaged in maritime affairs Feb 25 th for talks. They had a 'coffee break' conversation concerning the safety of Pusan Port.
They spoke freely with each other about safety in shipping.
They also unreservedly put forth their opinion on controlling hybrid ships and other matters.
They plan to cooperate with each other over the safety of Pusan Port.
The informal 'coffee break' was held to improve cooperation and understanding for innovation at Pusan Regional Maritime Affaires and Fisheries. Through the informal talks between non-government personnel and civil servants about pending questions, they aim to solve problems more easily.
If the 'coffee break' finds favor with people, it may be expanded to three times a week.
