Dedicated wharf staff for Pusan
The BPA (Busan Port Authority) announced that it would introduce a one-stop system with the whole responsible staffs by wharf of the Port from February 23.
BPA will arrest problems for shipping companies and wharf operators and implement solutions with dedicated staff for the 14 wharfs such as the 9 wharfs in Pusan North Port, 4 wharfs in Gamcheon Port and 1 wharf in Dadaepo Port.
To this, wharf operators and shipping companies will be able to consult with the wharf staff when problems rise.
One official from BPA said, "We expect that this support system will improve convenience for wharf customers like shipping companies and raise competitiveness for Pusan Port in the long run".
