Seyang Shipping Mr. Lim, awarded '2003 New Intellectual and New Korean CEO'
President, Lim Byung Seok of Seyang Shipping Co., Ltd was awarded the '2003 New Intellectual and New Korean CEO' from the Herald Business at its press center, January 26.
The newspaper selected 21 CEOs for the '2003 New Intellectual and New Korean CEO' prize, and Lim Byung Seok received the only prize in the shipping business sector.
The Herald Business awards the prize to noteworthy business leaders from diverse areas who lead the times with original ideas and innovative concepts in the past year.
The Seyang Shipping president won the prize for taking control of Seyang when it had been in receivership for 6 years and leading the company back into the red in a mere 6 months with his his accurate market analysis and decisiveness. Among the reasons for being selected for the prize, the Herald Business noted that he actively promoted investor relations, increasing the value of the company.
