Hanjin Shipping strives to train experts in global trading
Hanjin Shipping announced that it would select 13 experts and transfer them in November to Bokju and Kunming in China, Mombai in India, Gdynia in Poland, Rijeka in Croatia, amongst others. The selected individuals include 10 country experts, 1 logistics, 1 law, and 1 insurance expert.
It thoroughly examined volunteers in September and selected 10 to be transferred to 9 countries, including China, India, Poland, and Chile. After learning language and culture, those selected will play an important role in investigating the shipping fields and creating better sales policies.
The 3 experts in logistics, law and insurance will be transferred to the US and Great Britain and will intern at specialized companies.
Since 1994, Hanjin Shipping has conducted the International Expert Program and trained 130 experts so far.
Its personnel director, Choi Min-young, said, "Hanjin Shipping's International Expert Training Program will continue to improve our global marketing."
One employee, Kim jung-soo, selected for service in China, spoke of the benefits of its International Expert Program and expressed his hope of becoming a renowned specialist in the region he is to train in.
