CyberLogitec (www.cyberlogitec.com, president, Kim Jong-tae) announced September 29 that they were awarded a grand prize in the IT solution section at "2003 Hit Web Award" held under the sponsorship of the Hankook Daily News.
CyberLogitec, having 190 special members, is a subsidiary IT company of Hanjin Shipping. It offers shipping and logistics IT information solutions ranging from consulting to system building, outsourcing, custom solutions and resale services of hardware and software to its partners.
CyberLogitec reopened its website in April with an improved design and functionality in accord with its goal to be a 'global logistics IT company'.
The website was designed in greens and browns to differentiate it from other websites. Information on CyberLogitec members is available at the site.
Especially, 'Info Bank' operates under a membership system, aiming at customers understanding logistics through IT. It provides timely information to help companies understand shipping trends, logistics and the IT industry.
The front page was designed for usability so that visitors can find information easily.
The Hankook Daily News 'Hit Web Award' has been around for 5 years, and selects the best websites for IT businesses based on specialists' opinions and user satisfaction.
One staff member from CyberLogitec said, "We expect that this happy event will improve our brand image as a special company for logistics IT," and added, "Through this homepage, we hope to create a community for shipping and logistics IT. Moreover we hope it contributes to the North East Asia logistics hub strategy by securing domestic and foreign specialist groups for shipping and logistics IT."
