HMM to establish Container Profit Improvement TFT
HMM (Hyundai Merchant Marine) announced July 15 that it established "a Container Profit Improvement TFT (Task Force Team)" to improve its profitability.
This TFT, started by HMM president, Noh Jeong Ik, will reduce expenses and maximize work-efficiency. The process will start with interviews for each manager.
HMM also said that it would put in place an incentive system to solicit ideas.
This is the first TFT for a Korean shipping business.
