HMM receives honors from abroad

Hyundai Merchant Marine recently received two prizes, ?he best security award?and ?he best shipping company award?
HMM revealed on April 3 that the container dedicated terminal ?UT?operated by HMM in the Port of Long Beach was chosen as safest terminal by the PMA. The terminal was chosen in part for showing decreases in accidents three years running since 2000.
The PMA picks the terminal with the best safety record amongst US west coast terminals every year.
HMM also received an award from ?erseco?global distribution, which chooses the shipping company that offers the best transportation services.
?erseco?highly appraised HMM for undertaking services without delays during the US west coast strike in September 2002.
A spokesman from HMM said that it was nice to be recognized for their efforts to offer the fastest and most stable services to customers.
