Southwest Asia trade notices to introduce GRI April 1, 2003

In order to maintain a high standard of service to their customers, our organization will follow the recommendation made by a group of carriers serving the Far East/India trade to increase our rates to Nhava Sheva and Mumbai with effect from 1 April 2003.

The level of this restoration will be US$ 100 per TEU for all equipment types from Far East origins to Nhava Sherva, Mumbai, and all points via these ports. This quantum of rate restoration will be applied on top of existing rates.

Carriers also decided to increase rates to Karachi starting from 1 April 2003. The level of restoration will be US $100 per TEU for all equipment types from Far East origins to Karachi and all points via this port.
