Hapag-Lloyd, OOCL and P&O Nedlloyd Announce Fast New Intra-Asia Service
Hapag Lloyd, OOCL and P&O Nedlloyd announced today the start of a fast new dedicated Intra-Asia service called the JTV (Japan-Thailand-Vietnam) service. This new service offers fixed day weekly direct services between Japan, Thailand , Taiwan and Vietnam and has some of the fastest transit times in the market.
The new service starts at Laem Chabang (calls on Sunday), Ho Chi Minh City (Tuesday), Tokyo (Tuesday), Yokohama (Tuesday), Osaka (Thursday), Kobe (Thursday), Keelung (Sunday), Ho Chi Minh City (Thursday), Laem Chabang (Sunday). The transit times between Japan and Vietnam are the fastest in the market.
This new dedicated service aims to serve the automative, electronics and and reefer industries, which are known for their requirement for fast, high quality and reliable services.
The first sailing 'm/v Cape Serrat O1N11’ will arrive at Laem Chabang on 15 March, 2003.
