KNFC raises BAF from December 1

The KNFC (Korean Nearsea Freight Conference) will raise BAF from December 1.
At first, the KNFC had intended to apply the raised surcharge from the15th of this month but they delayed it in order to collect the opinions of Shippers' and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.
Member lines of the KNFC charge shippers 20 dollars for BAF at present. But they will receive 84 dollars from December 1.
Member lines of the KNFC have charged BAF for 2 years since January 10, 2000.
