Hanjin ties up with Hukuyama Express

Hanjin Corp., revealed October 22 that the company agreed with Hukuyama Express to cooperate on international logistics.

Hanjin will be able to provide quicker express services to all of Japan with the help of the 400 sales offices and logistic points of Hukuyama Express. Hukuyama Express will also utilize Hanjin's domestic logistic network and know-how in Korea.

This agreement is one of Hanjin's efforts to expand its global network. Hanjin is operating local sales offices in Qingdao, China as of March 2002, following Los Angeles and New York branch offices that opened in 1996.
