OOCL Thailand: a new vessel calling at Port of Le Havre
Built on the Samsung site of Koje Island, OOCL Thailand made its first call at Port of Le Havre, at Atlantique berth on May 3rd 2002.
Like its sister-ship OOCL Korea which arrived on february 13th, OOCL Thailand is overpanamax unit of 277 meters long, 40 large with depth of 14m. Its speed is 25.5 knots and capacity 5.600 EVP.
It is affected to the Far East-Loop 2 launched by Grand Alliance (P&O Neddloyd, Hapag Lloyd, NYK, OOCL, MISC) since 1998.
It will link Northern European ports to Extreme Asia and will go through Port of Le Havre, Southampton, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Singapore, Hong-Kong, Kaoshiung, Busan, Kaoshiung, Hong-Kong, Singapore,Port Kelang and back to Havre.
