CKY-H conclude EUR/U.S Atlantic Gulf Coast Slot Purchase with America ships and Grand Alliance
Hanjin Shipping, Coscon, K-Line and Yang Ming conclude Europe/U.S. Atlantic & Gulf Coast Slot Purchase Agreement with Americana Ships and Grand Alliance
Hanjin Shipping, COSCO Container Lines Ltd.(Coscon), Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd.(K-Line), and Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp(Yang Ming) have reached an agreement with Americana Ships and Grand Alliance to purchase slots on their two strings of Europe/U.S. Gulf Coast services. It is expected that this agreement will become effective mid-May, subject to the approval of the regulatory authorities. Coscon, K-Line and Yang Ming are currently reviewing three loops of their existing Europe/U.S. Atlantic & Gulf Coast services in light of this newly agreed slot purchase agreement, and have a plan to change their services in near future to provide the best quality of services to their customers.
The following are the joint services currently being operated by Coscon, K-Line and Yang Ming. :
TAS-1 (2800 teu x 4 vessels)
Antwerp-Felixstowe-Bremerhaven-Rotterdam-Le Havre-New York-Baltimore-Norfolk-New York-Halifax-(Antwerp)
TAS-2 (2000 teu x 5 vessels) * Hanjin using slot charter
Antwerp-Felixstowe-Rotterdam-Bremerhaven-Antwerp-Le Harvre-Charleston -Miami-New Orleans-Houston-Charleston-(Antwerp)
TAS-3 (a part of AUM, 3500 x 12 vessels) * Hanjin using slot charter
Asia-Charleston-Norfolk-NewYork-Boston-Valencia-Naples-Genoa-Barcelona-New York-Norfolk-Charleston-(Asia)
