Burlington Air Express’ New “Zip’n Ship” Service Offers Customers

Burlington Air Express has launched a new service, Zip’n Ship, that t
ells customers instantly what levels of expedited shipping services ar
e available to all U.S. zip codes.
The new Zip’n Ship zip code service guide is available on Burlington
Air Express’ (BAX) World Web site, BAXWorld, located on the Internet
at URL address http;//www, baxworld,com.
In using Zip’n Ship, customers simply tap into the BAXWorld Web site,
locate the Zip’n Ship area and type in a shipment’s destination zip
code. The service immediately tells customers what BAX service levels
are available to that destination.
Zip’n Ship service levels are indicated as either “A,” “P” or “S
” in the system.
The “A” level zip code area means shipments will arrive before noon
the next day.
The “P” level of service indicates delivery before 5 PM the next bus
iness day. The “S” service levels mean delivery to that zip code wil
l be before 5PM the second business day.
Zip’n Ship also indicates if BAX’s newest expedited service, First A
rrival, is available. First Arrival offers earlier delivery than sched
uled, in many cases before 8 AM.
“We created the Zip’n Ship service so our customers would be able to
do business with us simpler, faster and in a more user-friendly manne

tomers who want electronic sccess to service information without dedic
ating PC hard drive space to run our Electronic Service Guide software
