SITC, Qingdao and Sihanoukville sign memorandum of cooperation

On December 25, 2015, Mr. Yang Shaopeng, Chairman of SITC Board of Directors accompanied Mr. Li Qun, Qingdao Party Secretary, and participated in "New Business Silk Road from Qingdao Trade, New Partner for Economic Cooperation" at the Cambodia-Qingdao Business Seminar in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Yim Chhaily, the Chinese Embassy Commercial Counselor in Cambodia Mr. Song Xiaoguo, Chairman of the Chinese and Cambodian Chamber of Commerce Mr. Gao Hua, Chairman of Qingdao Port Mr. Zheng Minghui, General Manager of Sihanoukville Mr. Lu Jinchun, and others participated in the Seminar.

During the Seminar, three parties, including Qingdao Port, Sihanoukville Port and SITC, signed a "Memorandum of cooperation." Through the memorandum of cooperation, SITC intends to establish a long-term, comprehensive, strategic and cooperative partnership in many areas with Qingdao Port and Sihanoukville Port, and further strengthen various aspects, such as port logistics and operations, further expand the cooperation areas, continue to deepen the cooperation of the parties, and achieve win-win development.
