Submission for Sea Transportation of Inter-Korea Trade Supplies

The Korea Shipping Association submited the idea of sea transport for
Inter - Korea trade supplies ( including manpower) to The Ministry of
Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (MOMAF) last month. The Korea Shipping
Association insisted that Inter - Korea trade supplies must be regard
ed as domestic transportation and that priority must be given to domes
tic vessels on the basis of Article 25 and 26 of Maritime law. Also, i
t suggested the loosing of restrictions transportation of Inter - Kore
a trade supplies on domestic vessels, for the continuous growth of dom
estic transportation industries.
