New record on year-end delivery volume of Fedex Korea is close at hand

Fedex Korea announced that their package volume per day reached about 19,000,000 on December 10, setting a new record.
The day was the busiest day in Fedex Korea's history. The highest daily volume surpassed 10% more than last year's.
On the other hand, the number of deliveries on Thanksgiving day and Christmas season also increased by 13% to 280 million from 247 million over a year ago. Fedex explained the improved performance was due to increases in e-commerce.
China's online retail market is already the second largest market after the US, while sales figures doubled between 2009 and 2010.
David L. Cunningham, the President of Asia Pacific Division of FedEx Express, said, "I believe Fedex has continued to have the highest traffic volume again and again owing to its strong global network and customer's trust." < 김보람 기자 brkim@ksg.co.kr >
