[ Danzas Now Offers Express Services in the Nordic Countries ]

Danzas terminates the last part of its cooperation with ASG at the end
of 1997 and reassumes its pre-existing express freight product Eurapi
d. In Finland the Group will offer the complete range of Europen and i
ntercontinental transportation services out of its local subsidiary. T
he newly founded Danzas AB in Sweden will offer Eurapid and interconti
nental services. Conventional land-based transport(Euroconnect)will co
ntinue to be handled by Europe, a partner of Danzas. The Danish partne
r GT Spedition and the Norwegian Cordinator AB, will take over Eurapid
in addition to other land-based services. As previously, intercontine
ntal services in Denmark are handled by GT Spedition(oceanfreight) and
TTI(airfreight). In Norway, Cordinator AB offers both air-and oceanfr
eight.
Following these changes, Danzas will offer all transportation services
out of their own local subsidiaries or through a single partner per c
ountry. With Eurapid, Danzas will be able to connect all main nordic c
ities to the rest of Europe within 24/48 hours. Danzas will thus maint
ain and increase the current levels which include tracking & tracing.
